The Joint Powers Board (JPB) is composed of one representative and up to one alternate appointed by each member district governing Board and is the legal body for the SELPA. The superintendents of each member district are usually the district representatives of the JPB. The JPB meets regularly to take action on policies, rules, regulations and procedures. JPB meetings are open to the public, except as otherwise provided or permitted by law.
